Shelley is the founder and Clinical Director of Ottawa Psychotherapy Services. She offers individual, couple and family therapy. She provides clinical supervision to student interns, newer and experienced therapists. She provides  mentorship to supervisors qualifying with the Canadian Association for Couple and Family Therapy. She provides clinical consultation to individual therapists seeking support to work with ethical issues or complex cases. Shelley provides education and training to healthcare training programs and organizations.  She has over 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist working in a community based practice and has been supervising, educating and training psychotherapists for the past 15 years in both formal training programs and clinical settings. Her theoretical orientation approaches emotional and relational problems from a developmental, relational, psychodynamic, experiential, cognitive, and behavioural perspective.  Shelley's doctoral research focused on highly distressed couple relationships - a specialization she continues to research. Her passion helping clients accomplish their therapy goals, and students and health care professionals develop their professional competencies is demonstrated in her dedication and commitment to quality in her professional roles.
